The Home Energy Efficiency Team (HEET) is pleased to offer free leadership trainings through a grant from the Massachusetts Service Alliance. These hands-on trainings will teach new volunteers to:
a.. assess the weatherization needs of buildings
b.. specify and source materials for weatherization barnraisings
c.. organize barnraising tasks and coordinate weatherizations
d.. serve as team leaders at barnraisings

How to Evaluate a Home for Energy Efficiency Needs, Including Airsealing, Insulating, and Optimizing Electricity and Water usage. Space for 8 trainees.

We are particularly looking to train people who want to start new barnraising teams (in or outside of Cambridge), or new volunteers who want to become leaders for HEET barnraisings.

We ask participants to make a commitment to serve in leadership roles in at least 4 barnraisings (run by HEET or by new teams).
