Yesterday, TRU member Stuart Spina presented a report to the MBTA Board of Directors outlining his recommendations for improving bus service. Over the past nine months, 17-year old Stuart has extensively researched 12 bus lines, chosen because of their heavy ridership and poor reputation. Most of these lines run through the Dudley Square Bus Station, just two blocks from ACE.
After riding each route multiple times, tracking schedules and talking to riders, drivers and T officials, Stuart has requested a number of changes to make the system better for riders in lower-income communities of color.
