Since I've been " out of the loop" for awhile I feel like this is an opportunity for me to become re-energized in order to help address the issues that affect our community on a local/national level. Especially youth violence, healthcare inadequencies, and issues involving educational initiatives that are not comprehensive enough to actually solve the existing problems. With that said, I believe that attending this EJ in the hood is a springboard into larger issues.
