Bus Marathon

I can't count the times the 57 bus has driven by without stopping. I know there is the rush hour rule of not stopping at certain stops unless someone is getting off the bus, but that doesn't explain this:

Last night (Sunday) at 7pm, an inbound 57 bus was stopped at the stoplight at Babcock Street. The doors swung open and passengers started leaving. Keep in mind, the bus stop is 50 yards down the road, on the other side of the stoplight (i.e. the bus has to drive through the light to reach the place where people should enter/exit). Seeing the doors open, I figure this must be one of the mysterious times that the bus actually stops, so I run to stop only to watch the light turn green, the bus start moving, and drive right past me and a waving bus pass.

Meanwhile, I'm sure the 66 bus was non-existant (not) on Harvard Ave. And the CT2 had stopped running. And the 64 wasn't going all the way to Kendall.

All in all, there is no continuity to the MBTA's service. There is almost no ITS information, and where there is, it is innaccurate or worse, INAUDIBLE. I doubt it's worth any more energy here.
