The T Riders Union is marching down Washington Street, from Dudley Station to the Transportation Building, to demand that the MBTA and the State House fund public transit and stop putting our communities in crisis.
We demand that there be no fare increases without wage increases. We demand funding for public transit, a solution to the Big Dig debt that doesn't crush riders, and equitable service for all who depend on the system. The theme of our march is "More Fares = Less Milk" because increasing fares means less money to spend on food and other necessities.
Meet at Citizens Bank, 2343 Washington Street, Roxbury, by Dudley Station on Wednesday, April 10, 11:00 a.m. See you there!
