On Thursday, March 29, the Youth Affordabili(T) Coalition (YAC) will march to the Transportation Building and the State House to demand that MassDOT, Governor Patrick and the Legislature implement our Fast Five solutions, take Big Dig debt off the MBTA, and protect public transportation and our Opportuni(T). We demand a Youth Pass for all youth ages 12 to 21 and quality service that is affordable to all.
YAC is made up of 21 groups, with youth from Boston, Somerville, Cambridge, Chelsea, Quincy and Brookline. We are calling on our governor and Legislature to take leadership for a sustainable public transit system that benefits our health, economy and commonwealth.
