Join Zero Waste Boston and Greenovate in Dudley Square

Date and Time:
Wednesday, November 8, 2017 -
6:00pm to 8:00pm

Join Zero Waste Boston and Greenovate Wednesday, Nov. 8, 6-8PM in Dudley Square.

The City of Boston is going zero waste! Ideally, this will mean that the City will dramatically reduce the amount of solid waste it generates and stop relying on landfills and incinerators that pollute communities of color and low income communities.  But how will we get there?

Join the Zero Waste Boston Coalition on November 8th to launch the City’s Zero Waste planning process.

ACE is a member of the Zero Waste Boston Coalition. We want to make sure that the planning process to make Boston a zero-waste city creates positive benefits for communities of color and low-income communities. At this workshop, you will have the chance to speak with the Zero Waste Boston Coalition and the City of Boston’s Greenovate program about the city’s plan to implement Zero Waste policies. Zero Waste Boston is committed to making sure that a Zero Waste plan for Boston will improve public health and climate impacts while creating good, green jobs and business ownership opportunities.

WHAT: Zero Waste Boston workshop; free and open to the public!

WHEN: Wednesday, November 8th, 6-8pm

WHERE: Bolling Building, 2nd floor (2-12 A&B) - 2300 Washington Street, Roxbury, MA 02119
