Come meet the contractors for the 28 corridor transit study!

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is selecting a consultant to work on this community led transit study. THe study will result in three potential transit projects.

Along with the new SL4 connection, a new BRT corridor will be created along what is currently the number 28 bus route which stretches from Mattapan Station to Ruggles Station. The new corridor will include the installation of dedicated bus lanes, bus signal priority, and on-platform fare collection. The whole project is expected to be finished by January 2012.
