Our mission is to support diverse filmmakers and provide an opportunity for audiences to view the works of these filmmakers, and experience stories often overlooked in mainstream media. The Roxbury International Film Festival takes place over 4 days, with workshops and film screenings taking place at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Massachusetts College of Art, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall, and other locations throughout Boston.

This workshop is for those of us who are working to take on the system and change it! We will talk about how to hold on to what is important for ourselves by organizing others. This is part of the Radical Organizing Conference's Summer Institute.

People across the globe are feeling the effects and mounting inspirational struggles for justice and alternatives to the current system. The state, utility companies and the city of Boston have resources to help residents save money and reduce their energy use by weatherizing their homes.The resources must be distributed effectively, particularly in communities that pay high energy bills and cannot afford to make improvements.
