ACE and our partners will be sending adult and youth contingents to this year's USSF. Toxic Tour: Environmental Justice in Roxbury!

Join us to learn about local environmental injustices! Saturday, June 26, 2010 3:30-5:00 p.m. at ACE. This event will be led by our very own Gene Benson. The tour will begin with a video and discussion of local environmental justice work followed by a visit to sites around Dudley Square that reflect environmental injustices as well as the great achievements of people organizing for change. We will look at what makes a radical organizing method by examining winnability, strategy/tactics, coalitions, spirituality, building a majority movement, the role of political education, and the effectiveness of well-known organizing methods such as one-on-ones, story-telling, and relationship-building.
