Join the CPA for a 17-mile bike-a-thon along the harborwalk! Water will be available at checkpoints throughout the bike route, and a picnic lunch will be provided in Boston Common starting at noon. Proceeds will go to the Chinese Youth Initiative; each rider is asked to raise at least $20.

The Roxbury Strategic Master Planning Oversight Committee working session is scheduled for Monday, May 24, at the Central Boston Elders Services, at 2315 Washington Street, in Roxbury. The oversight committee will discuss the draft RFP for Parcels 9 & 10, and recommend language on local and residents jobs. The agenda also includes update on the Whittier Street Health Center and Ruggles Place projects.

The tour will begin with a video and discussion of local environmental justice work followed by a visit to sites around Dudley Square that reflect environmental injustices as well as the great achievements of people organizing for change.
