Interested in supporting the campaign for youth jobs and stopping violence? Come out for a refreshing cup of homemade lemonade during your lunch hour! REEP students will be selling lemonade in front of Senator Scott Brown’s office to help raise funds for summer youth jobs and programming.

The Roxbury Strategic Master Planning Oversight Committee working session is scheduled for Monday, May 24, at the Central Boston Elders Services, at 2315 Washington Street, in Roxbury. The oversight committee will discuss the draft RFP for Parcels 9 & 10, and recommend language on local and residents jobs. The agenda also includes update on the Whittier Street Health Center and Ruggles Place projects.

In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage month, please join us for a free film screening of American Experience's "My Lai," followed by a discussion facilitated by Peter Kiang, Asian American History Professor at UMass Boston. The screening is sponsored by Boston Asian American Film Festival/Asian American Resource Workshop, National Association of Asian American Professionals - Boston Chapter, UMass Boston Asian American Studies Program and WGBH.
