Down:2:Earth is Boston's premier destination for conscious consumers. It is a marketplace for eco-friendly products, a public stage for community initiatives, and an educational forum that addresses sustainability issues on the minds of us all. D2E emphasizes local and innovative solutions and connects consumers with progressive companies that are investing in a more sustainable future.

Environmental Action 2009 will offer over 20 workshops designed to help you prevent pollution, tackle climate change, ensure clean drinking water, protect open spaces and develop skills and strategies to create healthy and safe communities.

The 23rd Annual Charles C. Yancey Book Fair will provide thousands of free books for hundreds of Boston youth. Over 350,000 books have been distributed since the book fair’s inception in 1987. The event is free to the public and the books are brand new.
