Ever have a problem at work, but can't get your co-workers to speak up? Ever feel like life is hard, but that there's nothing you can do about it? As the boss squeezes us to do more and more work for little pay, it has become hard to imagine a world where we can work less, yet have a comfortable life to enjoy ourselves. This two-part training will focus on the skills of agitation, sharing personal stories as a way of motivating others, and pushing folks to stand up. The skills explored in this training are not only applicable to building a union, but they can also be used in fighting for justice everyday in your work place. We will also explore the labor movement as a powerful agent for social change. Please participate in both days.
