10/30/2008 - 8:00pm

At the request of ACE partner Community Labor United and the Secure Jobs, Secure Communities campaign members, the Boston City Council will be holding a public hearing on corporate responsibility. The following corporations are
under scrutiny:

Blackstone Group, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.

Blackstone Group is the largest downtown real estate owner and Boston. The Secure Jobs, Secure Communities campaign demands that Blackstone give back to the community by establishing a charitable community fund for youth opportunities,
foreclosure prevention, and CORI friendly job access as well as living wage jobs for the security workers they employ in their buildings.
