Boston Steps Consortium

Boston Steps is part of national effort to reduce the burden of: diabetes, obesity, asthma, and tobacco through increasing physical activity, nutrition/healthy eating and reducing tobacco use/exposure. The Boston Steps target area is where the burden of the above conditions is the highest - Roxbury, Dorchester, and JP among others.

At the Consortium Part 3: Place Matters of "Unnatural Causes: Is inequality making us sick?" (http://www.unnaturalcauses.org/ is the series' website) will be shown and afterwards a panel (including members of REEP) will discuss some local initiatives to address neighborhood health disparities.
