Do you remember Hurricane Sandy? Did you know that our changing climate means that the weather will become less predictable and that we will experience more bad storms? Climate change doesn't just affect the weather it will make the health of our communities worse unless we act. How can we ensure that any actions taken by the city and state are just and improve people's lives?
The June 18 session will be sure to inspire and connect the local and the global through the stories of organizing groups fighting for climate justice locally, nationally, and internationally. Join us from 5:30-8:00 p.m., food at 5:30 p.m. and workshop starting at 6:00 p.m. Childcare will be provided.
This is the second in a series of three workshops. We encourage you to attend them all!
