• July 28, 2004: Community Rallies to Ban Bioterror Lab

•  April 20, 2004: Residents and Scientists Say to City Council: No Bioterror Lab.  Testify that facility is too dangerous and an environmental injustice.

•  April 13, 2004: Scientists and Physicians Oppose Bioterror Lab in Boston.  Urge Mayor and City Councilors to ban “high-risk” facilities in Boston.

• September 25, 2003: City-wide Coalition Rallies for Accountability from Local Officials on Boston University’s Bio-terror Lab Proposal.

• September 19, 2003: Residents Sue to Stop Boston University Bio-terror Lab Proposal.  Lawsuit claims BU violated state environmental law.

• July 29, 2003: Community Rallies Against Proposed South End Bio-terror Lab.  Protestors cite lack of economic benefits and City give-away of land.

• June 26, 2003: Community Opposes Boston University’s Proposed Biodefense Lab.  Concerns raised over potential accidents, lack of public process.

In April 2004, Boston Mobilization, another group in Boston that opposes BU’s proposed bioterrorism lab, produced and paid to have 100 of these advertisements placed on the Red and Orange Lines of the MBTA:
